Glorybuds LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Glorybuds mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you or your child uses our App.
Glorybuds is designed for children and their families. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and all other applicable privacy laws.

Information We Do NOT Collect
- Names, email addresses, or any contact information
- Photos, videos, or audio recordings
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Browsing history or search queries
- Any biometric data
No Accounts or Logins Required
The Glorybuds App does not require any account creation, registration, or login. There are no usernames, passwords, or profiles. Your child can use the App immediately after download without providing any personal information.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores a small amount of non-personal data locally on your device using AsyncStorage (a standard on-device storage mechanism). This data never leaves your device and includes:
- Game progress: Stars earned and levels completed
- Saved verses: Bible verses your child has bookmarked
- Prayers: Prayers your child has composed within the App
- Prayer requests: Prayer request entries created within the App
- Theme preference: Light or dark mode setting
This data is stored solely on your device. We have no access to it, and it is not transmitted to any server.
In-App Purchases
The App may offer optional in-app purchases. All in-app purchases require parental consent and approval. We strongly recommend that parents and guardians enable parental controls on their device to require approval before any purchase is completed:
- Apple devices: Use Screen Time (Settings โ Screen Time โ Content & Privacy Restrictions โ iTunes & App Store Purchases) to require a password or Face ID for all purchases.
- Android devices: Use Google Family Link or enable purchase authentication in the Google Play Store settings to require approval for all purchases.
All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play). We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details at any time. Any purchases are subject to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies and terms of service.
Third-Party Services
Text-to-Speech (ElevenLabs API)
The App uses the ElevenLabs API to provide text-to-speech functionality. When this feature is used, short text snippets (such as Bible verses or story content) are sent to ElevenLabs' servers for audio generation. No personal data is included in these requests. Only the App's pre-written content text is transmitted. As with all network requests, standard HTTP metadata (including IP addresses) may be received by ElevenLabs as part of normal network communication; this is outside our control and is governed by ElevenLabs' privacy policy. App Store Payment Processing
If in-app purchases are offered, payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. We do not interact with payment data. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.
No Other Third-Party Services
The App does not use:
- Advertising networks or ad SDKs
- Analytics or tracking tools
- Social media integrations
- Third-party login providers
- Any other third-party data collection services
No Advertising
Glorybuds contains no advertisements of any kind. We do not display ads, and we do not work with any advertising networks.
No Tracking or Analytics
We do not track your child's activity, behavior, or usage patterns. We do not use cookies, pixels, beacons, or any other tracking technologies. We do not collect analytics data of any kind.
No Third-Party Data Sharing
Because we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to share with third parties. We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer any information to outside parties.
Parental Controls
The App includes a Parent Portal that allows parents and guardians to:
- View all locally stored data (game progress, saved verses, prayers, prayer requests)
- Reset or delete all locally stored data at any time
- Manage theme and preference settings
All data management is handled entirely on your device. Additionally, Apple Screen Time and Google Family Link can be used to manage app access and restrict or require approval for purchases.
COPPA Compliance
Glorybuds is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Specifically:
- We do not collect personal information from children under 13
- We do not require any personal information to use the App
- No account creation or registration is needed
- All data is stored locally and never transmitted to our servers
- Parents have full control over any data stored on the device through the Parent Portal
- Any in-app purchases require parental consent and are processed solely by Apple or Google
GDPR Compliance
Glorybuds is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect, process, or store any personal data on our servers, the typical GDPR data processing concerns do not apply. All user-generated content remains on the user's device under the user's control.
If you are an EU resident and believe you have a privacy concern, you have the following rights under GDPR โ and here is how they apply to Glorybuds:
- Right of Access: We hold no personal data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to provide.
- Right to Erasure: Any data in the App is stored on your device. You can delete it via the Parent Portal or by uninstalling the App.
- Right to Portability: Not applicable โ we hold no data on our servers.
- Right to Object: We do not process personal data, so there is nothing to object to.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may grant you certain rights. Because Glorybuds does not collect, sell, or share personal information, these rights are not applicable in practice โ but we disclose them for full transparency:
- Right to Know: You may request information about personal data we have collected. We collect none.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal data we hold. We hold none on our servers. Any data on your device can be deleted via the Parent Portal or by uninstalling the App.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Do Not Track
Some browsers and devices transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because we do not track users in any way, we do not alter our practices in response to these signals โ the result is the same: you are never tracked regardless of your setting.
Data Security
Since all App data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data is managed by your device's built-in security features (device passcode, encryption, etc.). No data is stored on our servers, so there is no risk of a data breach on our end.
Data Retention and Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by:
- Using the reset options in the Parent Portal within the App
- Uninstalling the App from your device
We retain no data on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
